Robert Di Toro is a Family Clinician at Relational Minds Mildura Clinic. His role involves working alongside families, carers, children and young people to support them through difficult times, helping them reconnect, build capacity and restore agency as a parenting team.
Robert brings a warm, thoughtful and relationship-focused approach to his work. He believes that while families may experience common challenges, every situation, environment, dynamic and pathway is unique. By listening carefully and exploring each family’s wider ecosystem, Robert aims to understand where people are coming from, what is happening around them, and what supports may be most helpful.
Families can expect respectful curiosity, without judgement. Robert describes his approach as being “a careful and courteous guest” in the lives of the families he works with. He brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to his practice, supporting families with care, understanding and practical insight.
Robert has worked with children and young people for nearly 15 years across different roles. He brings professional and lived experience with the NDIS, as well as personal insight as a neurodivergent person and parent in a neurodiverse household.
Robert holds a Master of Social Work and is an AASW member. He also holds a Diploma in Community Services, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
