Elizabeth takes time to ensure clients feel understood, heard and validated no matter their situation.

Elizabeth tailors her approach to meet her clients’ needs and ensures clients leave feeling empowered and advocated for. Elizabeth has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and parents, having worked in youth settings such as a primary school, headspace, private practice, and a Youth Prevention and Recovery Centre (YPARC).

Elizabeth’s main therapeutic approaches include Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy and Somatic Therapy.

Elizabeth completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science and Honours Degreee at La Trobe University, followed by her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at the Cairnmillar Institute. Elizabeth has engaged in a range of training workshops during her career including, Levels 1 and 2 of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Tuning into Teens training and facilitation, Understanding and Working with Autism in Young People (Orygen), and online trainings including Assessment for Eating Disorders (The Inside Out Institute), Multicultural Young People & Accessing Mental Health Support (REVERB), Keeping Our Kids Alive: Successfully Working With Suicidal Children and Young People (Australian Psychological Association) and The Basic Schema Model, Methods & Treatment Strategies (Schema Therapy Training Online).

In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys keeping active, cooking, gardening, and walking her pet dog, Joey. Elizabeth works at Relational Minds from Mondays – Thursdays.
