Psychological Treatments

Would you like to develop skills and strategies to cope with your mental health difficulties?

Are you having trouble with unstoppable thoughts that tell you negative things?

Are you having trouble with your relationships at home and other areas in your life?

Our clinicians have vast experience in the use of therapeutic interventions like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  Functional Recovery and Art Therapy. We can work together on helping you find ways to improve your psychological health and coping mechanisms. Contact us to find out more.

We provide psychological treatment for children, adolescents and families. Our therapies for children, adolescents, young adults and their carers are based upon the principles of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy which is a trauma informed, developmentally focused approach to mental health treatment.

Individual treatments can include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Art Therapy and Sensorimotor (Body Based) Psychotherapy. Our family clinicians will support carers, schools and others involved in the care of the young person. We believe that the individual therapy for a young person is usually not enough to a achieve recovery without support from their carers or changes to their environment.

Our psychological therapy is always supported by a psychiatrist who will be available for consideration of diagnoses, formulation of your history and biological treatments (eg. medications). Our therapists work together as a team; we hold supervised clinical review meetings that ensures you receive the best possible evidence-based care.
